Data Privacy Day
January 28 is Data Privacy Day! Led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), Data Privacy Day generates awareness on the the importance of protecting personal information. This year commemorates the 40th anniverary of the signing of Convention 108, the first legally binding, international treaty dealing with privacy and data protection.This year NCSA encourages individuals to “Own Your Privacy” by learning more about the value of their personal data, and it reminds business to "Respect Privacy" by advocating responsible use and storage of employee and customer data.
