EOC Community
Working in conjunction with authorized representatives at institutions of higher education, we are making available an Emergency Operations Center mailing list. Available to all persons in EOC and related roles in higher education, the purpose of the list is to share information across institutions about status, operations, tactics, policy, and other EOC concerns.
The default sharing guideline for re-sharing information received on the list is TLP:GREEN (see https://www.us-cert.gov/tlp). Additionally, names of source persons and institutions must be removed from all re-sharing unless approved by the source or if otherwise publicly available.
Step 1. Become a Nominator
Only an institution's CIO or CISO (or equivalent) can be a nominator. This helps ensure that list subscribers are part of the higher ed community. Nominators must first be verified by subscribing to the EOC-NOMINATE list. To do so, send a subscribe request to the EOC-NOMINATE list by clicking here. This request must come from your institutional email address.
Step 2. Add People to the EOC List
Once you are subscribed to the EOC-NOMINATE list, you may send subscription requests for the actual, functional EOC list. Simply send a message to the EOC-NOMINATE list by clicking here. Each nomination* must consist of one or more names and institutional email addresses.
* Please note that if you (the nominator) wish to be on the functional EOC list, you should include your name and email address, too.
